Pleasant Hill, TN is a small town on the Cumberland Plateau, about 9 miles west of Crossville along Highway 70 toward Sparta. About 540 people live there, but the town has a bigger story than its size suggests. Pleasant Hill has been incorporated since 1903. Its history includes a missionary school, a pioneering woman doctor, and one of the region’s oldest retirement communities, and much of that history is still standing on Main Street.
Living in Pleasant Hill, TN
- Small-town pace, quick access to more. Crossville’s shopping, dining, and services are about 15 minutes east, and Sparta is a short drive west.

- Plateau weather. Pleasant Hill shares Crossville’s four-season climate, with milder summers than the cities below the plateau and a few light snows most winters.
